I thought it would be maybe a motivator using a desktop app that I can blog with. I use to use Postie to post via email, and maybe that is the way to go back to. I figured I would try one of the several desktop writing apps that integrate with WordPress that were available back in the day. Man was I wrong.
There are only a hand-full, and it appears that very few are compatible with self hosted WordPress. I remember using MarsEdit in the past, and thankfully that one os still available. Super frustrating. Could not get the app to successfully log in, maybe it has something to do with a WAF being installed. I’m not uninstalling the WAF – so I am moving on from now.
Maybe I’ll revisit…
